More About Farah

My name is Farah. I am a certified midwife with nearly two decades of experience walking alongside women through some of the most transformative moments of their lives.

I graduated from the Lebanese University’s Midwifery School in 2005, grounded in a medical model of care and deeply committed to women’s health. Over the years that followed, life took me abroad, where I worked across diverse fields—midwifery, teaching, sales, and even co-founding a creative business in decoration and balloon design.

Each experience added a new layer to my understanding of people, creativity, and care.
In 2016, I returned to Beirut with my three children, and a heart full of lived experience that would forever reshape my relationship with birth, the body, and my work.

The Births That Shaped Me

I often say that when it comes to birth, I’ve lived it all—and I truly have.

My first pregnancy ended with an induction at 40 weeks. At the time, access to natural birth education was limited, and social media had only just begun to open conversations around informed choice. I followed the system I had been trained in. The result was a vaginal birth with an epidural and a second-degree tear. It wasn’t traumatic, but it wasn’t empowering either. Something was missing, though I couldn’t yet name it.

My second child was born via cesarean section due to complications. When I speak about this birth, I say “we delivered him” because my physician was patient, compassionate, and truly collaborative. He listened, explained, and involved me in every decision. Still, I cried through the surgery, grieving the birth I had hoped for. While my bond with my son was immediate and profound, my postpartum recovery was far more complex than I had anticipated.

Then came my third pregnancy or what i like to call it “the turning point”
From the moment I had my C-section, I dreamed of a VBAC. The statistics and information available to me were discouraging, yet something deeper kept calling me forward. When my water broke, I trusted my instincts. I labored at home, listened to my body, and went on to experience a deeply empowering vaginal birth, one that changed everything.

That birth redefined how I understood labor, recovery, and the innate intelligence of the female body. It marked the beginning of a profound inner shift.

Unlearning, Relearning, Remembering

I realized that much of what I had learned, both professionally and culturally needed to be questioned. I began a journey of unlearning and relearning. That experience ignited a deep respect for the womb, for physiology, and for the natural rhythms that guide us when we are supported, informed, and trusted.

Birth was no longer just something I practiced, it became something I embodied.

My Mission

At the heart of my work is this belief:

Every woman deserves to understand her options and feel empowered in her choices—at every stage of her life.

I support women with evidence-based education, holistic tools, and emotional presence. From hospital preparation to home and water births, from postpartum healing to long-term pelvic health these are not just areas I study, but experiences I understand deeply, both personally and professionally.

Pelvic floor health holds a special place in my work. Often overlooked, it plays a critical role in recovery, daily comfort, confidence, and sexual wellbeing. To support women fully, I pursued specialized training in pelvic floor rehabilitation, completed multiple advanced online courses, an in-person training in Dubai in 2023, a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2021, and in 2022, in-depth studies in fascia and body alignment. These layers of knowledge allow me to offer care that is truly tailored, integrative, and respectful of the whole body.

Expanding the Circle of Care

My passion for women’s health extends far beyond birth.

As I entered my own perimenopausal journey, I felt called to go deeper—to understand the hormonal, emotional, and physical transitions that define this powerful stage of life. I completed advanced training in hormonal health to better support women through these changes with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based guidance.

Today, I support women from their first period to their final one. From puberty to pregnancy, childbirth to postpartum, perimenopause to menopause—I walk alongside women as they reconnect with their bodies, reclaim trust in themselves, and move through each chapter with confidence.

Where I Am Now

I am currently based in Dubai, offering both in-person and virtual support to women around the world.

Your body holds wisdom.

Your story matters.

And I am here to walk this journey with you.
